Dear Diary...
I cried when I had no shoes, until I met a man who had no feet and then I laughed, really hard.

Catch up
"...ex-Cronulla star Jason Stevens has apologised for damaging rugby league's image by not being involved in any sex scandals during his entire career. The famously celibate footballer, who swore off sex when he found God as a 22-year old, has told New Idea magazine of his plans to marry, likening his fiance, Beck Ford , to a plate of food in an a la carte restaurant. " One meal is more satisfying than being able to pick and choose as you feel," he says. Ford was moved to tears by a "love poem" Stevens wrote for her, which includes: "The thing is, Beck / You are easy to please / Like our Friday night outings / Watching rugby league."

Sugar High

A ridiculously wonderfully campy playland of utopian dreams, Pip & Pop: Under the Crystal Sky at The Japan Foundation. Until Wednesday June 3, when I will devour said installation at its close.
News worthy

Warwick Thornton wins Camera d'Or first film prize at the Cannes festival (read about it here).
Watch the video too, so that you may also mock the news presenter's inability to pronounce Gainsbourg.
It's too late, baby

Let the Right One In (Låt den rätte komma in) (Dir. Thomas Alfredson).
I missed the film, and have since ordered the translated text via Amazon. However I just wanted to say fuck you, Stephanie Meyer.
